Who we are

At Eat & Chat, our goal is that clients leave each session feeling relief and hopeful about what we will accomplish together.  We do this by building a relationship with our clients to create individual therapy plans that reflect their goals.

In our sessions, we use a child-led approach, using the child’s interests and strengths to build a connection between them and their therapist. We achieve all goals in a creative way by disguising our goals in play.

Therapy can be either direct or indirect. A direct approach describes the clinician working directly with the child, while an indirect approach focuses on coaching the child’s caregiver on strategies to use at home. At Eat & Chat, we use a combination of both approaches to ensure the family is well-supported.
